Analytics notice
This notice explains optional analytics on JazzValve. It is not a complete privacy policy for all JazzValve services.
Your choice
Optional analytics is off until you accept. Accepting or rejecting does not affect downloads, practice, sign-in, payments or your access. Use Analytics choices at the bottom of the page to change your choice. Permission is renewed after 90 days. If browser storage is unavailable, optional analytics stays off. Browser privacy signals can also keep analytics off.
What we measure
With permission, JazzValve uses Mixpanel to measure page visits, PDF link clicks, practice interactions and upgrade clicks, plus a general traffic-source category, such as search, social media or email. We record the first source category observed after consent and the latest non-direct category; these may not describe your original arrival. Raw URL queries, referral URLs, campaign text, email addresses and payment details are not included in these events. Playing audio does not prove instrument practice.
A browser analytics identifier helps group activity. When you are signed in, activity is linked to your JazzValve account using an internal account ID. This account-linked information is not anonymous. We do not use these interaction events as proof of payment.
Retention and withdrawal
Mixpanel’s documented policy retains events for two years. Renewing your permission every 90 days does not delete earlier events. Withdrawing permission stops future optional tracking and clears optional identifiers and history from this browser; it does not automatically erase events already received by Mixpanel. Requests already transmitted cannot reliably be recalled.
