About JazzValve

JazzValve is a practice tool for B♭ trumpet players: triads, scales, ii–V–I and hard bop licks with valve fingerings and playback. The Practice Notes is the writing side of the same project.

How we write

• Every article is built from the same note names and fingerings the app uses, so what you read matches what you practise.
• Lines and scales are played on a B♭ trumpet before an article goes out, and we say what to listen for.
• Each article carries an author, a review note and a last-updated date.
• No invented statistics, no fake testimonials, no claims we cannot back up.
